School re-opening is on everyone’s mind. Students want their education back. Teachers want their students back. Parents want their life back. And everyone wants to be safe. A tool to help school administrators assign students to cohorts for a safe reopening.

A community-based screening tool to identify the medically fragile during the Covid-19 pandemic in Red Hook, Brooklyn. This was built by a unique team featuring Council Member Carlos Menchaca and his staff, the Red Hook Initiative, CIV:LAB and Cornell Tech.

In collaboration with the New York Academy of Sciences and Queens Library, the virtual Summer STEM Career Lab for youth in NYC neighborhoods integrated the evolving landscape in light of COVID-19 through the Ignite Talk Series and the Virtual Internship. The STEM Career Lab provides youth with personalized career guidance and diverse perspectives.
